Ghana forward Kwabena Owusu scores to seal 3-1 comeback win for Qarabag against Neftci Baku

Ghana international, Kwabena Owusu put up a good display on Saturday to help Qarabag to come from behind to defeat Neftci Baku 3-1 in the Azerbaijan top-flight league.

In a game that lived up to expectations, the visitors took the lead in the 24th minute when Eddy Pascual equalized against the run of play to silence the home fans.

That goal separated the two teams but Qarabag never gave up. After recess, the team used the first 10 minutes to fight for a way back into the game.

Fortunately, the efforts of the team paid off when Kady scored in the 56th minute to restore parity to the game.

Later in the 68th minute, Abdella Zoubir was presented with a good chance and made no mistake as he scored to shoot Qarabag into the lead for the first time in the game.

Six minutes after that goal, Ghana winger Kwabena Owusu also got his name on the scoresheet to seal a 3-1 win for the home team.

With his goal this weekend, Kwabena Owusu now has five goals after making 16 league appearances for Qarabag this season.
