Hearts of Oak fans have reacted to the sacking of Samuel Boadu just three weeks into the 2022/23 campaign.
The 36 year old tactician and his back room staff including assistant coach Hama Obeng, goalkeepers coach Eric Amponsah were shown the exit door following the team’s slow start to the season.
Coach of the U20 Samuel Nii Noi has been named as the interim manager until a substantive head coach is appointed by the club.
He will be assisted by Benjamin Mensah, the Phobians said in a statement on Tuesday.
The news was met with mixed reactions as club’s supporters stormed the internet to express their opinion.
Too bad !
Tobge has betrayed Coach Samuel Boadu— Gyakari Abena Ntim (@abena_gyakari) September 27, 2022
Sacking the coach and keeping the gurus won't change anything.

I see it as wrong move by the club. In Ghana-Africa we're only interested in success always but that isn't possible. We should be expecting ups and downs in games ⛳️ . Where was Hearts before Boadu took over. Departing with Boadu wouldn't solve the club's problems!

Now we going back to hiring coaches every season. Such ungrateful team. Fans already calling Prosper? The coach who quit cos Board sold his key players. Y'all think he can win with this set. Boadu should have quite when the club couldn't keep his key winning GPL midfielders.

Boadu leaves and feel like part of me is gone. Have never met him before but I’m grateful for him turning Hearts from a dead club. Thank you for the memories @OfficialBoadu. Wish you well Sir 🥹🌈🌈

If we're been honest, With those first 3 fixtures on the calendar, any coach would have been fired. Thanks for your services Samuel Boadu. Your name will go down in the team history

You have done your part sir. God bless you so much for the memories you created in my heart as hearts of oak fan. I wish the board should have allowed you to stay for a while but man has come to do part, not all. I love you Kofi Yesu. pic.twitter.com/UtFMqOkSL2

Boadu arrived at the club on a three-and-a-half year deal in March 2021 following the exit of Serbian Kosta Papic.
He guided Hearts to the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title and also won back-to-back MTN FA Cups, Super Cup and the 2021 President’s Cup.
