On the sixth day of LaLiga Santander, Athletic Club defeated Rayo Vallecano 3-2 with the help of Inaki and Nico. The Williams brothers scored in the same game for the first time.
This is second time in the club’s history that two brothers have scored in the same league game.
The other time this happened was 57 years ago, when Eneko and Antón Arieta scored in the same game against UD Las Palmas.
Bilbao’s night initially didn’t look promising, but the “Leones” bounced back after Trejo’s first goal. Inaki Williams came to the rescue.
Twenty minutes later, with a second goal from Navarrese Oihan Sancet in between, Nico Williams scored the third Atletico goal of the night.
