Ghana midfielder Mudasiru Salifu met Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo following their Europa League clash on Thursday.
The Sheriff Tiraspol ace made a ten-minute cameo as the Moldovan club suffered a 2-0 loss at home to the English Premier League giants.
Sancho finished off a fine move with a scuffed effort on his left after Christian Eriksen’s reverse pass, before Ronaldo scored the 699th goal of his club career – and first of the season – from the penalty spot on a comfortable evening for Erik ten Hag’s side.
After the match, Mudasiru shared a brief moment with the Portuguese star and icon.
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder took to his social media page to pay tribute to one of the true greats of the game.
