Ghanaian duo Patrick Kpozo and Mudasiru Salifu feature as Sheriff Tiraspol beaten by Man United – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Scores, Results

Ghanaian duo Patrick Kpozo and Mudasiru Salifu played in Sheriff Tiraspol’s 2-0 Europa League defeat to Manchester United on Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty for his first goal of the season after Jadon Sancho’s opener as the English giants claimed three points in Moldova.

Kpozo started the game, while Salifu came on in the second half for the Moldovans.

Tiraspol manager Stjepan Tomas, on the other hand, benched goalkeeper Razak Abalora in favour of Ukrainian Maksym Koval.

Kpozo played the entire game at left full-back and produced a decent performance, while former Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru only played nine minutes.

Tiraspol had won their first game against Omonia and were looking for another, but United were too strong.
