CAF Champions League: Baba Yara Stadium to host Asante Kotoko vs RC Kadiogo clash

The Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi will be the venue for Asante Kotoko’s CAF Champions League preliminary stage second round clash against RC Kadiogo.

This comes after the CAF Club Licensing department granted the Porcupine Warriors license to use the 40,000 capacity edifice for its home matches.

The collaborative work between the club, GFA and the National Sports Authority ensured that the stadium met the club licensing requirements.

The game is scheduled to kick off at exactly 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Ivorian referee, Patrick Tanguy Jean Phillipe Vlei, has been named referee for the match and will be assisted by compatriots, Koabenam Prosper Adiouman, Kalidou Bamba and Kouassi Frederic Francois Biro.
