Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif has promised the Black Galaxies of financial support ahead of their encounter against Nigeria in the Championship of African Nations qualifiers.
Coach Annor Walker and his lads have a two-goal lead following goals from Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu in the first leg at the Cape coast stadium.
The return leg is scheduled for September 3 at the Moshood Abeola stadium in Abuja.
“The country and government is committed in making sure that all the logistics and financial support that’s needed for the Black Galaxies to qualify for Algeria is positioned to ensure that that’s done,” Hon. Mustapha Ussif said during the 28 edition of the GFA Congress in Prampram.
Ghana’s prime target is to qualify for the CHAN next year after missing the last three editions.
