Ghanaian winger Manfred Kwadwo has been ruled out for several weeks after suffering an injury in Prussen Munster’s victory over SV Straelen in Germany.
The 27-year-old picked up a muscular problem and had to be replaced after just 38 minutes of the 2-0 victory at the PCC Stadion.
The club confirmed the attacker will be out for several weeks due to the setback.
“After a little more than half an hour in Homberg, it was actually an inconspicuous scene that now entails a longer break for Manfred Kwadwo. During a dribble, the winger made a substitute without direct opponent influence, fell and had to be replaced after a short treatment,” wrote the club on their official website.
“The MRI scan on Monday confirmed the suspicion of a muscular injury in the rear thigh. The 27-year-old will miss the team for several weeks,” added the club.
Manfred Kwadwo has made four appearances in the Regionalliga this season.
He joined Prussen Munster from SV Waldhof Mannheim in 2021.
