Tanzanian powerhouse Simba trounce Kotoko as Porcupine Warriors suffer third pre-season loss in Sudan —

Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko slipped to a third consecutive loss in their pre-season campaign in Sudan after succumbing to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Tanzanian Premier League title-holders Simba SC on Sunday.

Ugandan forward Steven Mukwala raced the Porcupine Warriors into an early lead in the Northeastern African nation as he scored in the 9th minute.

But, Ghanaian attacker Augustine Okrah drew the Msimbazi Street Boys level with an artful finish before Pape Ousmane Sakho put Simba into the lead.

The Tanzanians increased their tally to end the first-half 3-1 up.

Stephen Amankona scored for Kotoko as the tie ended 4-2.
