Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo has revealed his readiness for the La Liga clash against Real Madrid on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
The Black Stars centre-back insists he is up for the task against arguably the best striker in the world, Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.
The Spanish champions travel to the Balaidos on Saturday, hoping to keep their 100% start to the season, while Celta Vigo chase their first win of the season.
“The champions, a great team, but we need the points,” said Joseph Aidoo to El Munod.
Asked about his match up against Benzema, he replied: “I will not play in a special way, but as always. That will be the best.”
Joseph Aidoo is in his fourth season in Spain and has been an integral member of the Celestial Blues. The former Genk defender signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2026 in January.
