We’re assembling a team that will be difficult to beat – Kotoku coach Seth Ablade –

Seth Ablade, the newly appointed head coach of Kotoku Royals, says his team will be difficult to play against in the Ghana Premier League.

After finishing top of Zone Three of the Division One League last season, the Eastern Region-based club secured a place in Ghana’s top flight for the first time.

Ablade has been brought to ensure they enjoy their debut campaign and he is feeling confident after signing a two-year contract.

“We are in the process of building a strong team for the upcoming Premier League, one which our opponents will dread to play against,” the former Medeama SC technical director told Graphic Sports.

“I can promise them [opponents] that Kotoku Royals will turn the Oda Sports Stadium, our home grounds, into a waterloo for visiting clubs and ensure we collect maximum points in our home matches,” Ablade, who holds a UEFA Pro License certificate in coaching and certificate in sports science added.

Ablade previously managed FC Jazz and Rotuaarin Pallo in Finland’s third division after obtaining his coaching licence.

The 39-year-old is a former Ghana youth international and played for premier league clubs in Poland, Albania, and Finland, where he lived for nearly two decades.

He was a member of the Black Starlets team that won bronze at the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Cup in New Zealand.
