Alexander Djiku was on the verge of leaving RC Strasbourg at the start of the transfer window, but he did not end up joining Hoffenheim.
In Alsace, the defender is still connected with a move, and various players have been mentioned as potential replacements.
However, after Saturday’s loss to AS Monaco, the former Caen player hinted in an interview with Prime Video that a transfer is no longer a possibility.
“I am very well, I am in Strasbourg, I will do everything to stay here,” he said.
The 27-year-old is still under contract until June 2023.
