Hearts of Oak have been exempted from the first preliminary stage of the 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
In effect, the Phobians will not be participating in the first qualification round according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Elsewhere, Asante Kotoko who are also representing Ghana in the Champions League will know their opponent for the first preliminary round on Tuesday, August, 9.
