Defender Philemon Baffour has been promoted to the first team of Portuguese top-flight side Rio Ave ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The Ghanaian youngster, who joined joined the Primeira Liga team in December, 2021, has been playing for the U-23 side.
He caught the eyes of Rio Ave for his performance in the 2021 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations as Ghana emerged winners of the tournament.
The 21-year-old played 31 times in the Ghana Premier League for Dreams FC and scored one goal with three assists before his move abroad.
Baffour is yet to feature for the Black Stars despite receiving a number of call-ups.
