Kotoko engaging Coach Ogum to rescind resignation decision

Officials of Asante Kotoko are engaging Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum in hopes that he will rescind his decision to resign as head coach of the first team.

As reported by your most trusted online portal in Ghana today, the former WAFA SC man has resigned from his role with the Kumasi-based club.

From the information gathered from sources, Coach Ogum has decided to quit his job over unpaid salary that runs through several months.

After further probe, we have learned that management of the Ghanaian giant is in talks with the unhappy gaffer trying to convince he to retake the job.

At the moment, things do not look good but the club is optimistic it can reach an agreement for the gaffer to continue coaching the club.

Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum joined Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the Ghana Premier League last season.

Aftet excelling in the role, he managed to guide the reds to lift the league title at the end of the campaign.
