Hearts of Oak defender, Mohammed Alhassan has reach an agreement with Iraqi club, Al-Kahrabaa for a possible transfer.
The highly-rated defender wants to leave the Phobian club with one year remaining on his contract as kickoffghana.com reported early this month.
He has submitted several letters to Hearts’ management in a bid to seek greener pastures elsewhere and still awaiting response.
It is understood FA Cup winners have considered opening talks with Al-Kahrabaa and should the negotiations be completed swiftly, Alhassan could move in the coming weeks for medicals ahead of a permanent transfer.
The former WAFA star who joined Hearts of Oak in 2018, has contributed to the club’s Ghana Premier League title triumph in 2021 and back-to-back FA Cup wins in the last two years.
Alhassan is currently with the Black Galaxies (CHAN team) in Cape Coast preparing towards the CHAN qualifiers against Benin on Sunday.
