Ghana Premier League Preview: Asante Kotoko vs Inter Allies- Porcupine to vent spleen on Allies

Asante Kotoko SC painfully lost the biggest game of season two weeks ago and will be hoping to bounce back against Inter Allies FC at the Babayara stadium on Sunday

The Porcupine Warriors have two three reasons as to why they need to win this weekend.

First is keep their 100% home record intact.

Second is to bounce back from their painful loss and lastly go top of the log for the first time this season.

Croatian gaffer Zdravko Logarusic is back from his short holidays and will be present at the dugout on Sunday for the important game.

He left the Ghana to his native country just after their defeat to the Phobians.

Attacking midfielder Kwame Boahene has returned to full fitness and is available for Sunday’s game.

Awal Mohammed is also fit from his injury he picked in the super clash.

Inter Allies FC moved away from the drop zone when they managed a slim victory against regional rivals Tema Youth FC a fortnight ago.

They hope to hold their forth to end their woeful start by picking at least a point at the Babayara stadium this weekend against the title aspirers.

Frederick Opoku Yamoah can’t make the trip to Kumasi since he has traveled overseas whilst defender Uriah Elikem Kporvi and Nigerian striker Chike Alozie has returned to recovery.

Issahaku Zakari is expected to keep his place in the starting lineup after having a wonderful debut against Tema Youth FC.

He was named the club’s player of the week afterwards.
