Ebenezer Assifuah charges young players to strengthen mentality in GPL before moving abroad

Former Ghana U20 goal poacher, Ebenezer Assifuah has urged young players to make use of the Ghana Premier League to toughen up before travelling abroad.

Speaking to Atinka TV in an interview, the FC Pau forward said he sees a lot of improvement in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

“Though I couldn’t play many years in the Ghana premier league I just play sixteen matches scoring eight goals but I can see that there is much improvement in the Ghana premier league currently in terms of broadcasting, branding officiating etc all is the league will get more sponsor to benefit the clubs,” Ebenezer Assifuah shared.

He further charged young players to play in the Ghana Premier League to strengthen their mentality before travelling to play outside.

“It’s not easy to play the Ghana premier league so I will edge younger once to make efforts to play the Ghana premier league before moving out to abroad,” Assifuah added.
