Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah reacts to ‘smoking’ and ‘drinking’ claims

Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Richard Attah has debunked the “smoking” and “drinking” claims made by Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe.

The board member of Hearts alleged that some players are indisciplined to the extent of smoking and drinking before matches.

He believed that contributed to their disappointing campaign in the Ghana Premier League.

“Everyone who knows me can testify I don’t drink alcohol. If anyone has evidence of me drinking alcohol, he should bring it out. I don’t also smoke,” Attah told Angel TV.

“I haven’t seen any player at Hearts of Oak who is into that. I don’t know on what grounds our board member made those statements but I can testify that I haven’t seen anyone like that,” he added.

Hearts of Oak finished the league campaign in sixth with 48 points.

However, their FA Cup triumph over Bechem United means the Phobians will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
