There is no offer from Asante Kotoko to sign me – Emmanuel Agyemang Badu

Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has disclosed that contrary to reports, there is no offer from Asante Kotoko to sign him.

Having reiterated on several occasions that he intends to play for the Porcupine Warriors, the ex-Udinese combative midfielder has been rumoured to be close to signing for the Kumasi-based club.

Speaking to Accra-based Angel FM in an interview, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says there is no offer.

According to him, his agent is working on a foreign deal for him but once it fails to go through, he will play in the Ghana Premier League next season.

“My agent is still working on some foreign deal but if that is not sorted out, I’m 120% certain of playing in the Ghana Premier League. At the moment, there’s no offer from Kotoko but there’s an official offer from a club based in Accra,” Agyeman Badu shared.

Reports indicate that Legon Cities FC wants to sign the midfielder to strengthen their squad for the next football season.
