Tottenham have given Clement Lenglet until the end of the week to decide whether or not he wants to make the move to north London, warning that they will turn their attentions to other targets should no decision have been reached by then.
The 27-year-old Barcelona defender is thought to be keen on making the switch to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, with doubts over his playing time at fellow suitors AS Roma should he move there instead.
Now, Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici have reportedly warned that should a deal not be struck by the end of the week, they will move on to other targets for the left centre-back role, with Piero Hincapie at Bayer Leverkusen one name linked with a move.

That is according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, who report that ‘Tottenham wants to plan the 2022-23 season without scares and does not want to be left at the last minute without a left-sided central defender’.
Would Lenglet be the answer?
It is hard to see quite where the 27-year-old centre-back would fit in at Tottenham, unless it were a move instead of a more marquee signing at left centre-half.
Spurs have been linked with the likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Josko Gvardiol and Pau Torres this summer, but the first two have seemingly committed their futures to their current clubs and the latter would cost a hefty fee.
As a result, they could turn to Lenglet as a cut-price alternative, though it would be a significant risk to gamble on a player that started just 7 times in La Liga last season and who has seemingly dropped to the bottom of the Barcelona pecking order.
But, with Ben Davies already present as cover on that side, were Lenglet to move it would be unlikely to be to play as a backup.
