Bundesliga will be ‘new challenge’ – Bochum new signing Osei-Tutu

Bochum new signing Jordi Osei-Tutu sees the Bundesliga as a ‘new challenge ‘ after competing his move from Arsenal ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old, who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Bochum re-joins the club on a three-year after successful negotiations.

Osei-Tutu played 22 games for VfL, where he scored scored five goals and provided three assists.

“I’m happy to be back in Bochum and at VfL. The last few years have been a bit more difficult for me. I can’t wait to play in front of the fans here again and get to know my new team,” he said as quoted by the club’s official website.

“I still know some of the players. The Bundesliga will be a new challenge.”

After his return to London, Arsenal loaned him out to Cardiff City, Nottingham Forrest and, last season, to Rotherham United. With the ‘Millers’ from South Yorkshire, the right-back finished second in League One and was promoted to the Championship, the second highest division in England.
