Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila says he is treated like a ‘king’ at Kuwait champions Al Qadsia because of his hardworking performance.

Sumaila, 23, won the Kuwait Premier League with Al Qadsia as well as leading the team B to win the Youth Championship in the country.

And the former Ebusua Dwarfs defender says he is treated like a king in Kuwait.

“I am treated like a king at my club. It is not easy for a player to be given such recognition especially if you are from Africa.

“If you fail to work hard to meet their mark, they pay you off and terminate your contract but they will hail you if you are impressive,” Rashid told A TV in an interview

Sumaila was adjudged the best foreign player in Kuwait after the 2015/16 season.
