Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams has lauded head coach Cioaba Aristica for masterminding their season turnaround.

The Fire Boys lost their opening three matches and were at the foot of the table.

Management’s decision to replace Nurudeen Amadu, who resigned after alleging some senior players where sabotaging him, with Romanian trainer Aristica swiftly improved their fortunes.

But Adams explains that having worked with Aristica before helped their recovery.

“Both coach Nuhu and Aristica are good coaches but currently, we have the luck and also because we have worked with Coach Cioaba Aristica before, we easily adapt to whatever tactics he teaches us,” goalkeeper Adams told the Daily Graphic in an interview on Thursday.

Aduana Stars are now second on the table with two points behind leaders Hearts of Oak.
