Dreams FC C.K Akunnor desperate to avoid the axe, charges players to respond

Under fire Dreams FC boss C.K Akunnor is desperate to save his job that he has ordered players to respond when they face Liberty Professionals this weekend.

The Dawu based club lost heavily to Aduana Stars (4-0) last weekend and reports are that the team must be rescued from the current technical head.

Indications in the local media are that Akunnor could be axed if he fails to win against Liberty this weekend.

An insider has told GHANAsoccernet.com that Akunnor has issued a emotional speech to his players to respond this weekend after a difficult week.

“Akunnor is clearly worried and has asked his players to improve,” He told GHANAsoccernet

“He is visibly concerned knowing very well that things haven’t been as expected in the last few weeks.”

“But that is football hopefully he can save his job this weekend.”

Dreams are now 6th on the league table having suffered 4 defeats, won five and drawn two of their first eleven games in the league.
