Williams brothers, Inaki and Nico have rejected the chance to play for Ghana despite effort made by the Ghana Football Association to lure them.
Both players were born in Spain but their parents are Ghanaian which automatically makes them eligible to play for the Black Stars .
With the World Cup looming, the FA presented them the opportunity to feature at the Mundial, having been often overlooked by the Spanish national team.
But renowned Spanish newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’ have reported the attackers have no intention of featuring for the senior national team despite their visit to Ghana.
The duo arrived in the country on June, 7 purposely to establish connection with their roots.
The Ghana Football Association have remained coy on the possible or otherwise switch of the brothers to represent the country.
Inaki and Nico were key players for Spanish club Athletic Bilbao in the just ended campaign.
