The National Sports Authority (NSA) has set ticket prices for Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Somalia, with standard admission costing GH₵50 and VVIP tickets priced at GH₵100.
The match will be played at the Essipong Sports Stadium as part of Ghana’s Group C campaign. Tickets for all stands and sections with fixed seats will be sold for GH₵50, while supporters wanting access to the VVIP section will pay GH₵100.
Students will be allowed to attend free of charge in designated sections without fixed seats. They must present valid student identity cards at the stadium to qualify for the arrangement.
Ticket sales will start on Tuesday, November 10, at 10:00 GMT. The Essipong Sports Stadium will serve as the official point of sale.
In a public notice issued on November 5, 2026, the NSA advised supporters to buy tickets only through the approved channel and to use the seating areas assigned to them. The authority said the measures were intended to help ensure an orderly matchday.
The NSA also urged Ghanaians to attend in large numbers and support the Black Stars as they attempt to secure a positive result against Somalia.
The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 11, and comes at a difficult stage of Ghana’s qualification campaign. The Black Stars have lost their opening two matches against Ivory Coast and The Gambia and are yet to register a point.
Ghana will host Somalia again in the reverse fixture on Monday, November 16, at 15:00 GMT. That match is also scheduled to take place at the Essipong Sports Stadium.
The two-time fixtures against Somalia are important for Ghana’s hopes of reaching the 2027 tournament after the four-time African champions failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.
With no points from their first two Group C matches, Ghana will be looking to use the meetings with Somalia to revive its qualification campaign and strengthen its prospects of returning to the continental showpiece.
