2021/22 Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko will present the trophy to President Akufo Addo at the Jubilee House in the coming days.
The Porcupine Warriors were officially crowned winners of the 2021/22 Premier League on Sunday night at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko whipped relegated Elmina Sharks 3-0 at home in the matchday 33 games.
The Reds were declared winners of the campaign after holding AshantiGold SC to a 1-1 draw at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in an outstanding game.
Following the coronation on Sunday night, Dr Kwame Kyei as the Board Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah will lead the playing body to present the trophy to the first gentleman of the land.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will present the trophy to the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at his residence at Manhyia Palace later today.
Asante Kotoko by virtue of winning the Premier League will represent the country in the CAF Champions League next season.
The Reds will wrap up their 2021/22 Premier League season with an away game against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
