Goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen denied Chile from two spot kicks to enable Ghana finish third in the Kirin Cup tournament.
The match progressed to penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time.
Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus and Fatawu Issahaku converted their spot kicks which was complement by Manaf Nurudeen’s two superb as Ghana emerged victorious.
The Black Stars had to finish the match with nine men on the pitch following red cards handed to center back Alidu Seidu and midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.
Ghana ended the mini tournament in third as the final takes place in the next few hours between host Japan and Tunisia.
