Liverpool striker Sadio Mane is on the verge of sealing a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Reports from football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano states that the forward has decided to leave Anfield this summer, with his contract expiring at the end of the next season.
According to Romano, Bayern have continuously been in contact with the player’s camp as they seek to find a replacement for Robert Lewandowski who is set to leave the club in the summer.
The Bavarians have also had a bid worth €25 million turned down by the Merseysiders, but Romano claims that the former will increase their offer to reach a verbal agreement as they fear that European giants like PSG and Real Madrid might hijack the deal if they don’t move in faster.

Lewandowksi is forcing out an exit this summer after publicly admitting that he wants to leave the club with Barcelona said to be his next destination.
Liverpool on the other hand seems to have moved on swiftly with the Mane situation after it was reported on Sunday that they had reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Darwin Nunez.
