TP Mazembe will release duo Solomon Asante and Yaw Frimpong late for Uganda, Togo clashes

DR Congo giants TP Mazembe say they can only release Ghana duo Solomon Asante and Yaw Frimpong two days before their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.

The Ghana News Agency has reported that the Ravens are on a collision with the Ghana Football Association for delaying the requests for the two players.

According to FIFA laws, clubs are only obliged to release their players for international matches.

The Ghana FA wants all called up players for the matches against Uganda and Togo to report to camp on Monday, 10 November.

Mazembe have also threatened to report the GFA to FIFA for the application of the regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.

But the Ghana FA claims all invitation letters were sent out on 27 October.

Ghana will host Togo at the Tamale Sports Stadium on 19 November.
