Ghana midfielder Elisha Owusu says the Black Stars are prepared for the challenge awaiting them at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The tournament will be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama.
Owusu admits the group presents a serious test but believes it is an opportunity to compete against top opposition.
“It’s a tough group, a really strong one. England and Croatia are top teams, and Panama also has quality.
“I like it because we will face big matches,” said the AJ Auxerre captain in an interview with Flashscore.
The midfielder insists Ghana are targeting more than just participation.
“Our main goal is to advance deep into the tournament and prove that African football is feared. We won’t just participate; we want to play with humility and demonstrate what Ghana is capable of,” he added.
