Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku on Monday led members of the Black Stars technical team on a goodwill visit to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, stressing the importance of giving back to the community and supporting public institutions that serve thousands of Ghanaians daily.

The delegation included Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, assistant coaches Desmond Ofei, Kim Lars Björkegren and Alain Ravera, as well as technical advisor Winfried Schäfer. Chief of Staff Michael Osekre and Communications Director Henry Asante Twum were also present.

During the visit, the officials toured sections of the facility, including the maternity ward, where they interacted with new mothers, babies and health workers. The team distributed assorted gifts and shared words of encouragement with patients and staff.

Addressing the media, Simeon-Okraku described the hospital as an institution that holds a “special place” in the hearts of the football fraternity, praising the dedication of its personnel despite operational and financial challenges. He urged individuals and corporate bodies to extend support to the facility, noting that even small contributions could make a meaningful difference.
