Former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew led NAC Breda to a crucial 1-0 win over Heracles Almelo, playing the full 90 minutes to help the relegation threatened side.

Ayew completed three dribbles, showcasing his skill, but also lost 15 duels, highlighting the physical nature of the game and his lack of match fitness.

He registered three shots, with one on target, and earned a match rating of 7.5.

The Ghanaian forward was influential in NAC Breda’s attacking play, operating actively around the penalty box and contributing to the team’s pressing game.

Clint Leemans scored the decisive penalty in the 80th minute, securing the win for NAC Breda.

This victory lifts NAC Breda from the bottom of the table, moving them to 17th place with  19 points from 23 matches.
