Ghanaian youngster Abdul Aziz Issah has suffered a setback, sustaining a muscle injury in his right leg adductor while training with Barcelona Atlètic.
The 20-year-old is expected to be out for approximately three weeks, dealing a blow to both his club and national team aspirations.
Issah, who has been impressive in his early days with Barça Atlètic, had been tipped for bigger things.
His injury comes as a disappointment, given his bright start to the season.
The midfielder has been instrumental in Ghana’s U20 squad and was looking to cement his place in the Barcelona Atlètic lineup.
It’s hoped that the recovery period will be swift, allowing Issah to get back to his best.
Until then, Barcelona Atlètic will miss his creative spark in midfield.
