Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo scored as Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
City took an early lead through Rayan Cherki’s 11th-minute strike, before Semenyo doubled their advantage just before halftime, scoring his 12th league goal of the season.
However, Spurs staged a remarkable comeback, with Dominic Solanke scoring twice in the second half to secure a point for the home side.
Solanke’s first goal came in the 53rd minute, when he slotted home from close range, and he completed the turnaround with a stunning scorpion kick in the 70th minute.
Semenyo’s goal was his 12th in the Premier League this season, and he has now scored four goals in his first five appearances for Manchester City.
The result leaves City second in the table with 47 points, six points behind leaders Arsenal.
