Chief Executive Officer of Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye-Ansah, has admitted that the club’s leadership is dissatisfied with the team’s performance in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Abrankese-based side currently sit 12th on the league table, having accumulated 24 points after 20 matches.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Boakye-Ansah conceded that results have fallen below expectations, despite positive performances on the pitch.
“We are not impressed with our performance this season. The players are playing well, but converting our chances has been our major problem,” he said.
Nations FC are set to host league leaders Medeama SC later today in their Matchday 21 encounter at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Ahead of the crucial fixture, the club CEO stressed the importance of securing all three points to improve their position on the league log.
“We are playing against Medeama, and it is a game that we must not lose. The whole of Asanteman must support us to beat Medeama,” Boakye-Ansah added.
Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 3:30 pm GMT.
