The Chief Executive Officer of Young Apostles, Gerald Domfeh, has expressed strong confidence that his club will maintain its Ghana Premier League status for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
Currently sitting 15th on the league table after 19 matches, the Apostles are perilously close to the relegation zone. However, Domfeh dismissed any concerns over dropping out of the top flight.
“We will survive relegation,” he told Asempa FM. “From the games we have played, we can do better, and we will give Dreams FC a good game this weekend. Relegation is out of the conversation.”
The statement comes ahead of a crucial away fixture against Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf in Matchday 20, following a 2-2 home draw against Hohoe United in their previous outing.
Domfeh’s remarks also come as Young Apostles officially confirmed their continued participation in the Premier League this season, putting aside earlier discussions of a potential boycott to focus fully on securing survival on the pitch.
