Ivory Coast and Cameroon played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group F clash at the Stade de Marrakech.
Amad Diallo scored for Ivory Coast in the 51st minute, marking his second consecutive game with a goal.
However, the lead was short-lived as Junior Tchamadeu equalized for Cameroon just five minutes later with a deflected shot.
The match was a high-intensity encounter, with both teams creating chances but unable to find a winner.
Diallo’s goal was a beautiful curling effort, while Tchamadeu’s equalizer was a deflected effort that looped over Ivory Coast goalkeeper Yahia Fofana.
The draw keeps both teams at the top of Group F with four points each, with Mozambique in third place on three points. Ivory Coast will face Gabon next, while Cameroon takes on Mozambique.
