Heart of Lions’ push up the table suffered another setback following a narrow home defeat to Medeama SC in Kpando.
The hosts dominated large portions of the contest but were undone by a single moment of lapse in the first half.
After conceding early, Lions created several scoring opportunities but failed to convert their dominance into goals.
Head coach Bashir Hayford cut a frustrated figure at full time as he reflected on the outcome.
“We played all the football, they had one chance and scored.”

The Kpando-based side have slipped to seventh place, remaining on 23 points from 16 matches.
