Nations FC captain Razak Simpson has been linked with a potential move to the Finnish top flight ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to Wontumi FM, the Ghana Premier League side has received an official offer from an unnamed Finnish club for the signature of the Black Galaxies skipper. Simpson is understood to be open to the move, with several clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.
Nations FC have since granted the highly-rated defender permission to hold talks with the Finnish outfit as negotiations continue.
Simpson joined the Abrankese-based club in 2023 and has grown into a key figure, making 65 appearances and scoring six goals. Across his Ghana Premier League career, he has featured 98 times for four clubs — AshantiGold, WAFA, Liberty Professionals and Nations FC.
His consistent performances earned him a Black Stars call-up in November 2025. The centre-back has since made six appearances for the senior national team, scoring once.
This season, Simpson has played 13 league matches for Nations FC and remains one of the standout defenders in the Ghanaian top flight.
