Ghana’s Black Stars have concluded the year ranked 72nd in the latest FIFA Men’s World Rankings.

The update, published on FIFA’s official platform, shows no change from their position in November.

On the African scale, Ghana also retain 14th place, maintaining their standing on the continent.

While the most recent ranking brought no upward movement, it reflects gradual progress over the year.

The Black Stars finished December 2024 ranked 77th globally, making their current position a modest improvement.

At the summit of world football, Spain close the year as the top-ranked nation.

Argentina and France follow closely in second and third positions respectively.

England and Brazil complete the top five, with Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Croatia rounding out the top ten.

In Africa, Morocco remain the continent’s leading side ahead of Senegal.

Algeria, Egypt and Nigeria complete the African top five as 2025 comes to an end.
