Ghanaian forward Osman Bukari has made a return to European football, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal with Polish side Widzew Łódź until 2030.

This move comes after a year and a half stint with Austin FC in the MLS, where he made 50 appearances, scoring six goals and providing 10 assists.

Bukari’s transfer to Widzew Łódź is a record-breaking deal worth around $6.5 million, making him the most expensive signing in Polish Ekstraklasa history.

The 27-year-old winger is expected to add a new dimension to Widzew’s attack with his speed, creativity, and ability to stretch defenses.

Bukari’s return to Europe is seen as a crucial step in his career, offering greater visibility and a more competitive environment as he eyes the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana will need Bukari at his best, and his presence in the Black Stars squad could be vital heading into the tournament.
