The Ghana Football Association has confirmed December 16, 2025 as the opening date for the mid-season transfer window, giving clubs a one-month period to strengthen their squads.

The window will open at 00:01 GMT on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and close at 11:59 p.m. GMT on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

In a statement, the FA explained that both the International Transfer Matching System (ITMS) and Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) will be operational throughout the window, allowing clubs to register both local and foreign players.

Clubs have been warned to complete all transactions within the set timeframe, as those who fail to meet the minimum requirement of 20 registered players risk being deactivated.

The FA also stressed that no extension will be granted under any circumstances.

The Ghana Premier League is currently in Matchday 14, with the 2025/26 season expected to end on May 30, 2026.
