Gold Stars attacker Ronald Frimpong has graduated from the University for Development Studies (UDS) with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Basic Education, Class of 2025.
Frimpong is also celebrating a historic achievement with his UDS team, who recently won the FISU University World Cup in China, beating Brazil’s Paulista University 2-1 in the final.
This victory marks UDS as the first African university to lift the prestigious trophy.
Frimpong’s academic achievement is a testament to his dedication and hard work, making him a role model for aspiring student-athletes.
The attacker was also a member of the team that won the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League title with the Miners.
After a slow start to the season, GoldStars are a point behind league leaders Aduana, having played 12 games each.
