Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Chairman, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has called on the Black Stars technical team to assemble a strong squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will make their fifth World Cup appearance, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, after topping Group I with 25 points during qualifying.
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe stressed the need for quality players capable of matching the world’s best.
“We should look for the best all over the world because it’s a World Cup and not just any ordinary tournament. Look at the class of footballers in Europe and Latin America; we need quality that can match them,” he said.
The Black Stars will discover their group stage opponents on December 5 in Washington, DC.
