Maxwell Woledzi’s move to Nashville SC marks another chapter in his career after signing for the Major League Soccer side.
He joined the USA-based club in a deal worth $1.5 million from Norwegian outfit Fredrikstad FK.
The new MLS contract, which runs until 2028 with an option for 2029, gives him a platform to test himself in a highly competitive environment.
Woledzi played a key role at Norway’s Fredrikstad FK, where he made 88 appearances and achieved several milestones.
He featured in the Europa League and Conference League qualifiers, experiences that helped shape his defensive maturity.
Woledzi also lifted the Norwegian Cup and earned a spot in the league’s Team of the Year.
His earlier years included development at FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, where he made 33 senior-team appearances between 2019 and 2022.
He later continued to build his career in Portugal with Vitória Guimarães SC B, adding 13 matches and one assist to his name.
