Ghanaian winger Kwadwo Asamoah has secured his future at FK Panevėžys after signing a two-year contract with the Lithuanian champions.
The renewal follows a season in which the youngster pushed through early injury setbacks to feature 29 times and score four goals.
Those challenges, he admitted, tested his rhythm and confidence during his first months at the club. “Yes, the year and a half at the club was not easy for me at all… I kept working,” he told the team’s website as he reflected on his recovery.
Asamoah added that his form improved from August onward, crediting his surge to renewed belief in the process and the coaching staff.
“Stability comes from confidence… I worked hard and the results came,” he said.
“I decided to stay… I think this is a place where I can improve as a player.”
The former Bechem United player first moved to Lithuania in 2023 following his stint in Latvia with Spartaks Jumala.
