Ghana football legend, Mohammed Polo is set to follow in Asamoah Gyan’s footsteps to launch a book about his playing career.
The former Black Stars midfielder is keen to make known his qualities and achievements to the modern generation during his heyday in the 70s and late 80s.
Gyan, Ghana’s all-time top scorer, is the recent player to launch his autobiography book titled the “LeGyandary”.
Polo reveals the book which contains his story as a footballer is ready and awaiting an official launch.
“A book has been written about Mohammed Polo, the dribbling magician, a story about the magician player.” The 65 year old told JoyNews.
“[I am a] player with different accolades. I’m a maestro, wizard, Polo-to-polo, wonderboy, player extraordinaire, scientist footballer, The names are in the book.” He concluded.
Polo was adjudged the best player in Ghana in 1975 after just one year in the topflight. He went on to become the 4th best player on the continent two years later.
