Black Satellites head coach Maxwell Konadu will begin a player assessment exercise next week as preparations intensify for the 2026 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship.

The first batch of selected players is expected to assemble at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Monday, November 17, 2025.

The screening will allow the technical team to evaluate potential talents and build a competitive squad capable of representing Ghana strongly in the regional tournament.

Players will report in phases, giving each group the chance to impress and fight for a place in the final team.

Coach Konadu and his staff are determined to identify a balanced and disciplined side as part of their long-term plan to restore the Black Satellites’ dominance in youth football.

Further details on the full list of invited players are expected to be released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the coming days.
